The iinstall was dead easy. It’s a simple Firefox add on that sits in your browser and activates itself when you login to your blog platform:

  • Blogger
  • Typepad

As I’m typing this post, I can see the recommended images and articles on the right hand side, plus keyword related tags below. Seems to be working. I’ll see what happens when I broadcast.

Could this be a solution for adding more relevant content to your blog?

What are the pros and cons?

I’ll be giving this a run for its’ money over the coming days, then I’ll be able to give you qualified answers.

Talk soon,

Stewart

P.S.  I’ll add one of the articles below and see if that works. Again, looks good before publishing. All I did was click on the article snippet on the right. Hmmm, this is beginning to look interesting.

Best Niche Marketing Tool

August 7th, 2007

I’ve entitled this post the best niche marketing tool because it simply is that.

I have a whole arsenal of tools for finding low competition keywords with reasonably high searches. All of them are great, but this one beats them hands down for sheer simplicity of use and speed of results it churns out.

Every time I’ve used it, I’ve found some under the radar niche markets that I can exploit.

In less than one hour, I found no less than 14 keywords with a minimum of 2017 searches per month, with less than 200 sites as competition…

Gold mine!

This tool definitely deserves its place in the Tools of the Trade section.

Go see the videos for yourself:

And have a good one.

Can a Loaf of Bread Improve Your Niche Marketing Business?

July 27th, 2007

Today I went to the local market to buy some bread…

What happened while I was there turned out to be a great lesson in marketing that both you and I can apply to our businesses.

Here’s the story…

I had just purchased a loaf of brown bread and was on my way out of the store when I accidentally bumped head on into an old lady who appeared out of nowhere…

After picking up our personal items off the ground, we both went through the customary ritual of apologizing to each other – (as you do).

Anyway…

On my journey home, it suddenly dawned upon me that what had just happened; as strange as it may sound - fell under the category of the Law of Reciprocity.

Let me expand a little on that…

Throughout your childhood lives and into adulthood, you have been raised, brought up, pre-programmed - call it what you like, to stick to the rules of society.

Whoa betide the man or woman who dares to step outside of the box and break any of the “unwritten rules.”

In this case, in spite of the differences in our ages, race and cultures, both the old lady (I bumped into) and I felt compelled to offer our immediate apologies to each other…

It’s just good manners isn’t it?

And it’s what’s expected of us…

Each one of us was able to walk away with different levels of personal reward.

The old lady walked away feeling I’d understood that I’d temporarily invaded her private space – and acknowledged the fact with my apology…

And I was able to dump my temporary feelings of guilt (be it small) when I saw her understanding reaction. What a nice old lady, not an ounce of grumpiness about her…

So taking all of this into account, the question that’s probably on your mind is…

What does all of this have to do with me and my business?

Well, it’s like this…

The world we live in is governed by certain laws.

Laws like the law of gravity – you know “What goes up must come down.” Thank you Sir Isaac Newton…

There’s also the law of Attraction, which in its short form states… “Like attracts like.”

Another law which is not so much talked about but it’s the one I’d like to share with you today - is the “The law of Reciprocity” - it’s as real as Isaac Newton’s apple falling from the tree.

The law of reciprocity says…

“One of the most potent of the weapons of influence around us is the rule for reciprocation. The rule says that we should try to repay, in kind, what another person has provided us.”

Robert B. Cialdini, author of The Psychology of Persuasion (William Morrow, 1993)

That’s how we’ve been pre-programmed throughout society – throughout every land, throughout every culture and every belief.

Use this law or whatever you choose to call it in an ethical way to provide your clients or potential clients with something of extreme value to them — upfront…

Yes, at no costs!

Watch what successful online marketers are doing…

People Eben Pagan has this down to an art. He’s not alone on the list of smart marketers using the law of reciprocity in their marketing. The list goes on and on and on…

Watch how they market their products and services by offering tremendous upfront value at zero costs.

They provide the kind of free information you would normally pay for from less savvy marketers - and of course you automatically feel obliged to reciprocate and invest in their up sells.

This post is not meant to warn you of such tactics, as these guys are using this method in an ethical manner. My intention is however; to shine the spotlight on this very powerful method - which you can and should be using for you business too.

Look forward to talking with you again about niche marketing.

Best Hosting Service

June 13th, 2007

Hostgator are without doubt, the most reliable hosting service you’ll find on the net.

www.hostgator.com

I’ve been with them since 2003, never had any down time and they provide excellent 24/7 support via their live chat systems.

I recommend the Baby Package if you’re just starting out — it provides more than enough disc space and bandwidth to get started with. (1gb Disc Space and 1000gb Bandwith per month). In fact, after four years, I still use the Baby Package.

For more professional needs, you’ll be better off checking out their Dedicated Hosting Packages.

Hostagator also provide you with the opportunity  to make a few extra pennies by providing other webmasters with hosting space. This can be easily set up, cost around 25 dollars per month (which you can easily offset with 2 or 3 customers), everything after that is pure profit in your pocket..

If this sounds interesting to you, then I recommend you check out their Reseller Packages.

Either way, regardless of which hosting package you choose, you’ll be in safe, reliable and professional hands with Hostgator.

They get the thumbs up vote from me, period!

New Product In The Making

June 10th, 2007

Been a while since I wrote so here’s a quick heads up on what I’ve been up to.

I’m working on a brand new video course that just seems to keep growing in size every day. I must stop writing and recording and get it launched!

I can be a bit anal when it comes to making my videos and audios, and this has been no exception.

What’s the topic?

Well, I’ll reveal that when I’m closer to launch day, but what I can say is, it guarantees to increase your sales conversion rates, without a shadow of a doubt.

All you have to do is to follow the steps laid down in the course.

Ok, that’s it for today. It’s been one of those 18 hour one’s and I’m about to crash and burn.

Talk soon.

Warmest regards,

Stewart

Website Content Wizard Interview

June 7th, 2007

Website Content Wizard Interview 1

Website Content Wizard users have steadily been creating unique content with this great tool. But it wasn’t always plain sailing in the beginning.

I’ve decided to upload these two interviews with David "The Wizard" Watson just as an example to show that it’s sometimes worth sticking around when you just know a product is good.

At the time, Dave was experiencing some admin problems and there was a lot of complaining going on in the forum.

Six months on, those that stuck with it are over the moon, me being one of them…

Listen in to these two interviews, the first one was just meant to be for members of the forum. I grabbed Dave and got him to lay down the facts from his point of view.

This was the first time I’d actually met "The Wizard" in person and he left a pleasant first impression on me.

All of this took place during the break at Frank Garon’s "Internet Marketing Millionaire’s Boot Camp" in London

Website Content Wizard Interview 2

Ok, first interview over, I switched off my mp3 recorder and was about to head back into the seminar, but Dave and I got talking again.

There was no way I was going to let this insider tips slip by, so I recorded our conversation again, only this time, it was time for me to sit back and listen. Even listening to it today, the information is still fresh.

How I Wrote A Sales Letter In 4 Hours!

March 20th, 2007

I’m a really happy hector today! Here’s why… 10am this morning, I get a Skype call from an online buddy of mine, Colin Fu…

He’s just finished writing a sales letter and wants me to take a quick scan and give him some feedback.

At this point I should tell tell you that I’ve been quietly writing copy for off line companies in my home town for a good year now, so I’ve gathered a little experience in that area…

I’m no Gary Halbert, that’s for sure but I can write up a storm and do some simple design when I put my mind to it. That leads me nicely into the Skype call with Colin…

It went something like this: "Hey Stew, check out my copy man, I wrote it myself! - What do you think?" "Hmm! Good stuff, you’re certainly getting better, the last one was terrible!" :-)

We laughed!

Let me re-write your headline for you Col, thats the least I can do for you."

Long story short…

Four hours later, Colin’s sales letter has gone from this (which he wrote):

http://askstewartalexander.com/googlesecret/

To this:

http://askstewartalexander.com/17secrets

And that’s why I’m so pleased with myself today…

Until today, I’ve never written a first draft sales letter in one day.

But I’ve never really focussed on getting the job done as much as I did today…

No phones, no emails, no forum posting or chats… just pure revenue generating action. Well that’s not quite accurate, I did it for free as Colin is a great buddy of mine who works his butt off at internet marketing and I wanted to help him out.

So what’s the lesson in this?

Three words…

FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!

Thanks for stopping by, have fantastic day and talk to you soon.

Niche Marketing Success

March 16th, 2007

How A 7 Year Old Boy Discovered The Secret To Niche Marketing Success

If you’re a niche marketing enthusiast, then this will blow your mind…

Here’s why…

I’m about to tell you a short story.

If you believe me, you will be well rewarded.

If you don’t believe me; I will make it worth your while to change your mind.

One thing is for sure, this short niche marketing story will do your personal development a world of good!

Once upon a time… there was a top internet marketing guru who wanted to test if his student really knew the secret to his online marketing success.

Calling upon his student, he said,… “I have a new task for you. I want you to show me the one big secret behind my online success?”

The student, although a very good one… could not think of an appropriate answer right away, and asked his guru-mentor to give him three days to return with a fitting reply.

The guru agreed, but warned the student that any answer short of perfection would cause him to lose faith in the lucrative Joint Venture deal that was on the table.

The student went home and began researching the internet… the local library and his own personal collection of ebooks, in the hope of coming up with a suitable answer to his guru-mentor’s question.

Two days later, he still hadn’t found anything presentable.

As he sat in his study feeling totally dejected, his 7yr old son entered the room and asked “Daddy, why do you look so sad?”

“I am unable to find an answer to my guru’s question… and, as a result, I may lose my chance of getting the biggest JV deal in the history of internet marketing. Which means no trip to Disney Land for all of us this year?”

“So what is the guru’s question” his son asked.

“Oh son, it’s much too complicated for you. Don’t you worry your young head over it… Run along and play with your toys.”

However, his son didn’t give up so easy, and finally his father told him…

“The guru wants me to show him the one big secret… to his online niche marketing success. I have read every ebook I’ve bought; every report I’ve ever downloaded and listened to all of the audio recordings on my hard drive… but still cannot come up with a suitable answer.”

His son just smiled and cheekily replied, “Daddy, this is so simple. Call your guru and tell him that the answer to his question is so easy, that even a 7yr old can show him!”

The father looked at his son in disbelief, but his son simply backed up his words by saying, “Don’t worry Daddy, I won’t let you down.”

Father, who was pretty much in a desperate situation by now, thought to himself, “Well, I have no other choice at this stage and placed all his hope on his small son’s shoulders”

The next morning, they went to the internet marketing seminar… where they arranged to meet the hugely successful guru.

The guru asked once again, “Can you show me the one secret reason behind my online success?”

The student humbly replied, “This question is so simple that even my 7yr old son can answer it.”

Totally surprised, the multi-millionaire guru turned to the young boy and said, “Ok young man! Can you show me the one secret reason behind my online niche marketing success?”

The young boy replied, “Sure Mr. Guru. Can you bring me a large pot of milk?”

The guru was naturally surprised by the boy’s request, but went along with it, none the less.

“Mr. Guru, is there any butter in this milk?” The boy asked.

The guru had to think for a short moment, and then replied, “Of course there’s butter in the milk!”

“Can you show it to me?” asked the boy.

“Yes, but first we must churn the milk, then we’ll be able to see the butter” replied the guru.

“Now that’s exactly my point Mr. Guru” replied the boy. Therein lays the formula for your success. It’s called CONSISTENCY.”

“Without this winning formula of non-stop consistency, online niche marketing success will always remain hidden from the eyes of every marketer, much in the same way butter is hidden within the milk - until it’s churned.”

After hearing this answer to his question, the guru was fully satisfied and entered into the biggest JV deal ever to me made between a guru and a newbie internet marketer.

So, the moral to this story is…

Even if you are not seeing immediate monetary results through your marketing efforts, remember, you are sowing seeds that will grow and be harvested in the near future.

Remain consistent in your niche marketing efforts and you will receive all the success you desire.

Warmest regards,

Stewart
